Germany: TSV Falkensee e.V

TSV Falkensee e.V. is a german NGO located in Falkensee/Brandenburg close to Berlin. The sport NGO was founded 1993 and is one of the biggest sport NGO s in the region. It has more than 2.500 members from 5 month till 91 years and offers 69 different sport activities in 169 sport groups. The goal of  the NGO is to offer a programm for all age groups and to implement a life long sport habbit for all members. TSV Falkensee e.V. is coordinating 160 professionals and volunteers who work as trainer, coordinator and supporter. An important goal is the social inclusion  of people all ages but especially kids. Competences like working in teams, developing social skills, supporting the develop of the personality of kids and guiding to a healthy lifestyle. A special importance is given to ‘Kinderturnwelt’ which is a programm to support sport habbits of kids from pre-school till primary school. The concept of this programm is not mainly focussing on a physical outcome. Kids should enjoy their movements, learn how to control their bodys and join different sportive activities in a group. The competetiv character of sport gives way to the idea of sport for all and with impulses for everyone. Huge movement parcours encourage kids of all ages to try movements and trust in their own bodies. Basic motorical skills are included in the learning process and higher corporal capabilities influence the motivation of kids positively.

TSV Falkensee e.V. is cooperating with a kindergarden and created a sport kindergarden which includes an every day sport programm and healthy nutrition. All teachers got a special training in the field of kids sport /movement and methods. The concept of the kindergarden is developed by experienced trainers and supported strongly by parents and families.
