1 FOOT BALANCING
Aim;
To determine the time the child can remain balanced on his or her preferred leg.
Tool;
- Chronograph
Application and Assessment:
The chronograph is started when the child raises their foot from the ground, is stopped when the foot or a hand is put on the ground. The best and worst of the 7 attempts by the child is eliminated, the medial result of the remaining five attempts is taken into consideration.
2. LONG JUMP FROM A STOP
Aim;
To measure the distance the child can jump from a static start. The exercise also informs us on the child's bodies two way coordination.
Tools;
1. tape measure
2. Tape
Application and Assessment;
The distance of the heel closest to the line is measured. The best four attempts are averaged.
3. Throwing Tennis Ball
Aim;
measuring the distance the child can throw the ball.
Tools;
1. tennis ball
2. tape measure
3. Tape
4. Chalk
Application and Assessment;
The first impact point of the ball is used to calculate the distance. The furthest and shortest distances are eliminated, a median of the remaining five attempts are taken.
4. Catching
Aim;
Measuring the child's proficiency in catching a ball. The exercise displays the coordination capabilities of the child.
1. 21 cm diameter ball
2. 60 cm diameter circle
3. Chalk
4. tape measure
Application and Assessment;
a- 3 points; Catching the ball with two hands. The ball may contact any part of the body once caught.

2. The median of ten attempts is taken.
5. Nimbleness
Aim;
The child should get up from a lying position, run the 3.05 meters, pick up the ball and return to their original state. The exercise informs us on the coordination and attention span of the child.
Tools;
1. Chronograph,
2. Coloured tape,
3. Tennis Ball,
4. Chalk
Application and Assessment;
The chronograph is started with the "start" directive. The chronograph is stopped when the child crosses the line after picking up the ball. The median of four attempts is taken into consideration.
6.Speed Run
Aim;
Calculating the time it takes the child to run 12.2 meters.
Tools;
1. chronograph
2. 4 one meter strips of coloured tape
3. 2 blocks
Application and Assessment;
The chronograph is started when the child crosses the second tape, is stopped with the passing of the third one. Of the three attempts, the slowest is eliminated and a median of the remaining two is taken into consideration.
7.Stretching
Aim;
To see how much the child can bend their body without bending their knees.
Tools;
1. Gymnastics mat
2. A 30 cm measuring tool marked + and - 15 cm.
Application and assessment;
The Child is brought on to the mat, is asked to touch their toes without bending the knees. The 0 point and the +, - 15 cm sections indicate the position of the child. An average of two attempts is taken into consideration.
8. Jumping
Aim;
counting how many times the child can jump in a 15 second period.
Tools;
1. Coloured tape,
2. chronograph
Application and Assessment;
A half meter strip of coloured tape is laid down. The child is instructed to jump without stepping on the line for the 15 second period. the average of the two attempts is taken into consideration.
9. Balance II
Aim;
To establish whether the child can walk on a balancing board.
Tools;
1. Balancing board
Application and Assessment;
A standard balancing board is used to see the childs ability to walk forward and then backward from a predetermined spot. Both directions award 3 points to the overall score.
